چکیده
Introduction The study aims to demonstrate the feasibility, safety and efficacy of robotic simple prostatectomy (RSP) using modified Freyer's approach in an Australian patient cohort. Although RSP is performed several centres, there a paucity published data. Methods We reviewed prospectively collected perioperative outcomes data for patients who underwent (RMFP) from June 2019 March 2022. Statistics were completed SPSS statistics v27.0 reported as mean range with p value <0.05 considered statistically significant. Results There 27 RMFP over period age 67 years prostate volume 159.74 cc (100–275). console time was 168 min (122–211), blood loss 233 ml (50–600) average length hospital stay 3.8 days (3–8). preoperative versus postoperative outcome means follows: serum prostate-specific antigen 9.69 1.2 ng/mL, IPPS score 17.1 1.25, quality life (QOL) 3.4 0.4, postvoid residual volume: 223.6 55.9 ml, Q-max 7.86 29.6 ml/s. These all significant (p < 0.001). weight resected tissue 74 g (43–206) 25 having benign histopathology two being diagnosed cancer (Gleason 3 + = 6 4 7). No returned theatre or required transfusion. Conclusions Data our cohort prostatic hyperplasia Our compare favourably studies on RSP.

Robotic radical prostatectomy: outcomes of 500 cases.
OBJECTIVE To report the outcomes of 500 robotically assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomies (RALPs), a minimally invasive alternative for treating prostate cancer. PATIENTS AND METHODS In all, 500 patients had RALP over a 30-month period. A transperitoneal six-port approach was used in each case, with the da Vinci robotic surgical system (Intuitive Surgical, Sunnyvale, CA, USA). Prospec...
متن کاملRobotic Prostatectomy in a Patient with Hemophilia
Given the rich blood supply to the prostate and the adjacent Santorini's plexus, radical prostatectomy is associated with significant blood loss even in patients with normal coagulation profiles. In patients with hemophilia, any surgical procedure carries a risk of significant hemorrhage due to a deficiency of factors in the coagulation cascade. For these reasons, hemophiliac patients have ofte...

OBJECTIVES To assess the preoperative parameters and clinical outcomes of patients undergoing robotic laparoscopic radical prostatectomy with specific attention to the body mass index (BMI). Little is known about the impact of obesity (BMI greater than 30) on the clinical outcomes of patients undergoing radical prostatectomy. METHODS The data of 100 men undergoing robotic laparoscopic radical...
